Cookie Policy

1. What we store on your device

“Cookies” here includes similar technologies such as local storage. Everything the Hub stores is first-party (set by the Hub itself) and essential:

NameTypePurposeDurationCategory
hub_filesCookie (HTTP-only, sent only to /uploads, same-site only)Proves you're signed in when your browser loads an uploaded photo, video or document, so files can be checked against who may see them. Not readable by page scripts and never sent to other sites.Until you sign out, or 7 daysEssential
hub_tokenLocal storageYour sign-in token — keeps you logged in and authorises your requestsUntil you log out; the token itself expires after 7 daysEssential
userLocal storageYour account id, name and status, so pages can show who's signed inUntil you log out or clear storageEssential
tmed_themeLocal storageRemembers the light/dark theme you picked (only set when you use the toggle)Until you clear storageEssential (feature you asked for)
tmed_policy_notice_dismissedSession storageRemembers that you chose “Later” on the Terms/Privacy review noticeUntil you close the tabEssential (feature you asked for)
tmed_consentLocal storageRemembers your cookie choices (version, date, choices — no identifiers)Until you clear storage; we ask again if this policy changesEssential

Your browser also keeps its normal cache of pages, images and fonts; the Hub doesn't use this to identify you.

2. Third parties

The Hub loads no third-party scripts, fonts, icons, analytics, advertising or tracking pixels — fonts and icons are served from our own server. Two things can still contact other websites:

3. Optional cookies and consent

There are currently no optional cookies or tracking, so there's nothing to accept or reject and we don't show a cookie banner. If we ever add optional technologies (for example analytics), they will stay switched off until you choose “Accept” in a banner offering equally easy “Accept all”, “Reject optional” and “Customize” options, this page will list them, and you'll be able to change your mind at any time from “Cookie settings” in the footer.

4. Managing storage

Logging out ends your session on our server and removes your sign-in token and the hub_files cookie. You can also clear site data in your browser settings at any time — you'll simply need to sign in again. Essential storage can't be disabled within the Hub because sign-in depends on it.
