Terms of Service
1. About these Terms
These Terms are an agreement between you and PT Ark Kreasi Digital, which operates TMED Business Hub, with Adwaya Raki as the responsible operator and contact (“we”). “TMED Business Hub” is the community's name, not a separate legal entity. Registration details are listed under Business information. By creating an account you accept these Terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.
TMED Business Hub is an independent alumni community. It is not officially endorsed by, affiliated with, or operated by Universitas Trisakti or its Mechanical Engineering Department. Mentions of Trisakti and its Mechanical Engineering programme only describe who the community is for and don't imply recognition, partnership or authorisation.
2. Eligibility & accounts
- Only Trisakti Mechanical Engineering alumni who are 18 or older may become members.
- Register with your real name, your own NIM and an email address you control. One account per person.
- Keep your profile accurate. Don't claim qualifications, employers, certifications or a class year that aren't yours.
- How eligibility works. The Hub is shared within the Trisakti Mechanical Engineering alumni community. When you create an account you confirm that you are one of those alumni and 18 or older. The Hub does not independently verify alumni status — there is no admin review, invitation code or document check — so it relies on your confirmation, and having a Hub account is not proof of anyone's alumni status.
- Access. Every signed-in account currently has access to member features. If paid membership is introduced, member features may require an active membership. Your own profile, settings, data download and account deletion always remain available. [Owner to decide how existing accounts are transitioned]
- Giving false details about your eligibility, or helping someone who isn't eligible to join, is a breach of these Terms.
- If we learn that an account belongs to someone who isn't eligible (including anyone under 18), we may close it and delete its data.
3. Account security
Keep your password secret and don't share your account. Tell us promptly at adwaya.raki@gmail.com if you think someone else has accessed it. You're responsible for activity on your account unless it results from our failure to protect the service.
4. Acceptable use
You must not:
- impersonate anyone, or misrepresent your identity, affiliation, or alumni status;
- harass, threaten, bully, or discriminate against others, or post hateful, sexually explicit, or violent content;
- post anything illegal, fraudulent, or misleading, including fake listings, fake jobs, scams, or pyramid schemes;
- send spam, bulk unsolicited messages, or excessive self-promotion unrelated to the alumni community;
- misuse other members' information — for example scraping or exporting the directory, adding members to marketing lists, sharing their contact details outside the Hub without permission, or using them for purposes unrelated to the alumni network;
- upload malware or attempt to access accounts, data, or systems you're not authorised to, or interfere with the Hub's operation (including probing, overloading, or bypassing security);
- infringe others' intellectual property or privacy rights.
The Community Guidelines give more examples.
5. Your content
You own what you post. By posting, you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, and transmit it on the Hub so the service can work — for example, to show your post to members and deliver your messages. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies other members have already downloaded or received.
You're responsible for your content and confirm you have the right to post it. We don't endorse member content, and we may remove content that breaks these Terms or the law.
6. Marketplace, jobs & Billboard
- The Hub is a noticeboard, not a party to deals. Listings and job posts are created by members. Buyers and sellers, and employers and applicants, deal with each other directly — the Hub doesn't process payments, hold money, ship goods, check items, or verify listings, employers, or job offers, and doesn't guarantee any transaction, seller, buyer, or job outcome.
- Sellers must have the right to sell what they list, describe it accurately (including price and condition), honour the terms they agree with buyers, and comply with consumer, tax, and product laws that apply to them.
- Buyers should check items and sellers before paying and use payment methods with appropriate protections.
- Job posters must post genuine roles, must not charge applicants fees, and must comply with employment and anti-discrimination law.
- Billboard ads are reviewed by the Hub admin before going live and are labelled “Sponsored”. Approval isn't an endorsement. We may decline or remove ads at our discretion and will tell you the outcome.
- Disputes about a deal or job are between the members involved, but please report fraud or abuse to us (section 8) — we may remove listings and suspend accounts.
7. Membership & fees
7.1 Membership rules that apply now
- Membership is limited to Trisakti Mechanical Engineering alumni, who confirm their eligibility when they register (section 2). The Hub doesn't independently verify alumni status.
- Paid membership registration is not yet available. No payments are being taken and nobody is being charged. No member is shown as a paid member unless a payment has been confirmed to the Hub's server by the payment provider.
- Marketplace listings, job posts and Billboard requests currently have no separate fee, and the Hub takes no commission on member-to-member deals. [Owner to confirm future marketplace fee policy] Any new fee will be announced before it applies and won't be charged without your agreement.
7.2 Planned paid membership (not yet available)
The following describes the intended model so you know what to expect. It is not yet in effect, and it will be completed and published — with any changes to these Terms — before any payment is accepted.
- Planned fee: IDR 300,000 per member per year.
- Automatic renewal: intended to renew every year, but only if the payment provider supports recurring payments for the method you choose and you explicitly authorise it. Before your first payment you'll be shown the amount, that it renews yearly, and how to cancel. Nothing is charged without that authorisation.
- Payment provider: The Hub intends to use Xendit as its payment provider, subject to Xendit reviewing and approving the Hub; no payment account is active. We won't receive or store your card or e-wallet details. Which payment methods (if any) support automatic renewal will depend on what the provider approves. [To be confirmed with Xendit after its review]
- When you pay: after creating your account, from the Membership page. Your membership becomes active only once the payment provider confirms the payment directly to the Hub's server.
- Cancelling: you'll be able to cancel the renewal at any time from the Membership page; it stops future charges. [Owner to decide whether access continues until the paid-through date]
- Failed renewals: [Owner to decide retries and any grace period]
- Refunds, invoices and tax: see Refunds & Payments. Mandatory consumer rights always apply.
8. Reporting & moderation
To report content, a listing, a job, a member, or a suspected scam, email adwaya.raki@gmail.com with a link or description. We'll review reports and may remove content, decline ads, or suspend accounts. If we take action against your content or account, you can reply to ask us to reconsider. [Owner to confirm moderation response targets.]
9. Suspension & ending your account
- You can delete your account at any time in Privacy & data settings. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
- We may suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, put members at risk, or where required by law. Where it's safe and lawful to do so, we'll tell you why and give you a chance to respond.
- If you lose access to your account, use “Forgot password?” on the sign-in page, or send a privacy request confirmed from the account's email address.
10. Availability & liability
We work to keep the Hub running but provide it free of charge and “as is”; it may sometimes be unavailable, and features may change. To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect losses or for losses caused by members' content or by deals and arrangements between members. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, or removes rights you have as a consumer under Indonesian law (including Law No. 8 of 1999 on Consumer Protection) or other laws that apply to you.
11. Complaints, disputes & law
If you have a complaint about the Hub, contact us first at adwaya.raki@gmail.com so we can try to resolve it informally. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia [Owner to confirm governing law and preferred dispute forum], without prejudice to mandatory rights you have in the country where you live.
12. Changes & contact
We may update these Terms. The version and effective date are shown at the top. For material changes we'll notify members on the Hub and ask you to review and accept the new version; if you don't agree, you can delete your account.
